DiD International Meeting 2011

Hong Kong, China / 12 – 15 October 2011

The 15th International Meeting of Dialogue in the Dark will bring together partners and supporters from all over the world in Hong Kong. Once a year DiD take this opportunity for all who are interested in or committed to Dialogue in the Dark to meet and have an open exchange and an open learning environment. Their knowledge basis comes foremost from the 17 permanent exhibitions in different geographies: Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. It is a truly international meeting with participants of the past meetings hailing from at least 20 nations – many of them VIP – or in our translation Visually Impaired People. From their experience at previous meetings we know these days will be exciting and inspiring and will give us the needed energy to run or set up local Dialogue in the Dark ventures.

The meeting is conceived by Dialogue Social Enterprise and organized in cooperation with this years’ hosts Dialogue in the Dark Hong Kong Ltd.

In the Design Thinking workshop on this year’s International Dialogue in the Dark Meeting, YES Network facilitated workshop participants in small groups to lead discussion in problem finding, brainstorming and prototyping.
